Generic Walk Cycle Front and Side View



My version of a generic walk cycle created in 3ds Max. I went threw this project three times. The first time through I worked just on the legs, feet and hips. The knees gave me some trouble. They were swinging very wide and looked very unnatural. I fixed the problem by key-framing the knee on each frame to make sure they stayed in line. The second time threw I worked on the arm swing and shoulders. I had some trouble getting the arms to swing properly. I discovered that I had to many key frames so once I deleted the ones I didn't need they looked better. The third time through I worked on just the head. I added some bob to the head so that it wasn't so static.
